It's Halloween Time at Treetops

Posted by Treetops on Thursday, 24 October 2013 in News

Halloween is almost here, and with it, our own special Halloween event, which was created especially for you and your family. Taking place this Sunday, October 27 from 11am to 1pm at the Treetops Presentation Centre, your little ghosts and goblins are encouraged to come dressed up in their costume to receive a special treat bag to take home. Plus it’s a great opportunity to come out and meet your future neighbours and the many families who already call Treetops homes!

What’s more, we’ll have a draw that will see two lucky families receive a $50 Toys “R” Us gift card each.

Still looking for the perfect costume idea for your children? Not to worry —we’ve compiled a few DIY tips that are sure to come in handy. Also, be sure to read our post on useful tips for a safe Halloween.

  • Fairy Costume: All you need to turn your little one into a magical fairy is a green leotard and tulle. Add a headband with flowers, and your daughter will look like the perfect Treetops fairy! Want to make it even more perfect? Consider giving her wings!
  • Tradesperson: If you’re moving in to a new Treetops home, chances are your kids are probably just as excited you are. Use that to your advantage by dressing them up as one of the many tradespeople that they may have seen working in the community, such as a plumber or electrician. The best part? You probably have most of what you need already, be it a plunger, boots, a hard hat, a tape measure, and some tools.
  • Explorer: Since Treetops is all about living beyond your backyard (and you will have lots of space to do that) why not dress up your little ones as explorers? Grab a hat, boots, binoculars, a map, and maybe a compass, and you’ll be all set!

What are you and your family dressing up as for Halloween this year? Let us know in the comments section below!
